Do You Know What You *Really* Want?

Whenever I am working with a client, the first question I ask them is “What is it exactly that you want?” It used to surprise me that most often, they really didn’t have clarity around this. And if they did have some idea, they told me not what they really wanted, but what they thought they could possibly get.

If you don’t have clarity in your business (or your life for that matter) and have a powerful vision around this clarity that evokes an emotional response in you and propels your forward, then you are simply wasting time and wasting money.

Without a vision, a business is like a ship without a rudder and is in danger of drifting aimlessly. I find that when a small businesses lacks a clear vision, it tends to jump from task to task without a clear understanding of what bonds the individual actions together or the value created by the individual actions. Simply put – you are just doing stuff.

Your vision provides the cornerstone for everything that you do in your business.

My book, “God’s Healing Plan: Hope for the Emotionally and Spiritually Wounded”, was released March of this year. I am taking this book, my teaching, and my desire to help others grow to a new level.

When you ask, “What do you really want”… I’m looking for strategy. Strategy that will reach many who need my help. I have the vision, the passion, and the drive. But I’m always willing to learn from others the strategy that I may need to leverage myself.

Thank you for writing this article. It really stirred my spirit to gain strategy.

After a little stay with Noha, Ali plans to go home and Noha begs her to stay with him. After a serious quarrel, Ali says no matter what I do somebody gets hurt then cry’s out. When Noha sees her confused, he humbly asks her, ” What do you want?”. Forget about me or him, just tell me what do you want? The story goes on……. I think this is a big question every body should ask. Oh Lord! What do I want?
