THE BACKSTORY
On September 10, 2025 at 12:23 pm Mountain Standard Time, Charlie Kirk, age 31, was shot and killed during the start of his American Comeback tour at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
It’s interesting that at the exact moment Charlie was shot, I was having my first-ever echocardiogram (heart ultrasound = HEART TEST) in Culpeper, Virginia, “the cradle of religious freedom” for the world, where the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution protection religious freedom was birthed.
What’s even more interesting is that I was having a profound conversation and God encounter with Nora, the lady doing the echocardiogram.
After my test was over, I asked to pray for Nora and promised to send her a follow up email with some resources we had talked about.
I sent my follow up email to Nora at 6:05 pm Eastern, followed by a text letting her know I sent the email. Within 15 minutes Nora responded to my text thanking me for our conversation and prayer. Her text ended with “I’m sure you saw the news of what happened while we were meeting. My heart is so heavy for the United States right now.”
I didn’t have a clue what Nora was talking about because I had been disconnected from the the news that day, but her text inspired me to do a Google search asking “What tragedy took place in the United States around 2 pm Eastern today?”
That led me to start looking for videos and articles with more details about the murder of Charlie Kirk.
At 9 pm Eastern, just before I was planning to step away from my computer to read the Bible and go to bed, a video from FOX News popped up on my computer and started to play talking about Charlie’s death. Something like that had never happened before, so I knew God was trying to get my attention.
I went to our family room and turned on FOX News, expecting to watch Hannity for 15-20 minutes talk about Charlie Kirk. Instead, I watched non-stop from 9 pm – midnight Eastern, hearing many testimonies from people who knew Charlie well. Many of those people are major influencers in our nation (USA). Charlie’s life was so important, there were no commercials during the 3-hour period.
Before the assassination, I had not heard of Charlie Kirk, nor did I know what Turning Point USA was. But now my eyes had been opened.
If it hadn’t been for Nora, I would not have known on Sep 10 about Charlie’s assassination, nor would I have watched FOX News for 3 hours (9 pm – midnight Eastern).
As I was watching and listening to FOX News, I saw a photo of Charlie standing in front of a professional background with “Turning Point USA” appearing many times.
And then I heard clearly in my spirit, “The assassination of Charlie Kirk (on September 10, 2025) marks a TURNING POINT for the USA and the world for good and for God.”
God confirmed the prophetic word several times later when:
- Tom MacDonald released a short rap video on Sep 11 that went viral titled “Charlie” to his 5.1 million YouTube subscribers. In his video, Tom said, “They may have a killed a soldier, but that man had an army… You can’t kill freedom!“
- Utah Governor Spencer Cox said, “This is a WATERSHED (moment) in American history. The question is, ‘Is this the end of a dark chapter in our history or the beginning of a darker chapter in our history?’ This feels a lot like the late 1960’s.”
- Erika’s Kirk delivered her profound speech in Turning Point’s podcast room on Sep 12.
- A prominent Christian leader said, “God is going to use Charlie Kirk to bring the greatest revival.“
- Many, many prayer vigils were held around the USA and the world, including in Culpeper, VA on Sep 12.
- Turning point received more than 50,000 new chapter requests, when they currently had 2,000+.
- I stumbled across one of my blog’s posts this morning (Sep 21) reminding me the title of James Goll’s free masterclass on Jan 8, 2025 was “The Turning Point:Endings that Spark Beginnings.”
People of God have been praying for years for revival and awakening among the youth. Charlie’s death has sparked that.

Gov. Spencer Cox (R-UT) spoke at a press conference with the FBI and local law enforcement officers on Friday September 12, providing updates on the 33-hour manhunt and investigation into the assassination of conservative activist and Turning Point USA Founder Charlie Kirk.
Here are some key excerpts from what he said:
- But it is also much bigger than an attack on an individual. It is an attack on all of us. It is an attack on the American experiment. It is an attack on our ideals.
- This cuts to the very foundation of who we are, of who we have been, and who we could be in better times. Political violence is different than any other type of violence for lots of different reasons.
- We will never be able to solve all the other problems, including the violence problems that people are worried about, if we can’t have a clash of ideas safely and securely, even especially those ideas with which you disagree.
- That’s why this matters so much. Over the last 48 hours, I have been as angry as I have ever been, as sad as I have ever been, and it was, as anger pushed me to the brink, it was actually Charlie’s words that pulled me back.

- Nothing annoys them so much. A few months ago — I referenced this last night — Charlie posted to social media, “When things are moving very fast and people are losing their minds, it’s important to stay grounded, turn off your phone, read scripture, spend time with friends, and remember internet fury is not real life.”

- We can return violence with fire and violence. We can return hate with hate. And that’s the problem with political violence is it metastasizes because we can always point the finger at the other side, and at some point, we have to find an off-ramp — or it’s going to get much, much worse.
- See, these are choices that we can make. History will dictate if this is a turning point for our country, but every single one of us gets to choose right now. If this is a turning point for us, we get to make decisions.
- I’ll just conclude with words I share often from a friend and author, Yuval Levin, who was asked if he was optimistic about our country, and he said, “I’m not optimistic.” He said, “I hate optimism.” Yeah, that sounds bad, but he said, “Optimism is a vice. It’s this idea that good things are just going to happen.” He said, “In the history of the world, good things have never just happened.” He said, “I’m not optimistic, but I AM HOPEFUL, and hope is the virtue that sits between the vices of optimism and pessimism.”

When Charlie Kirk got shot I knew in my spirit that this was going to cause the young and old to stand there ground for CHRIST .I knew that the enemy had awakened a sleeping giant. What the devil meant for our destruction will be the very thing GOD will be glorified through .I feel for his wife and children but MIRACLES are going to happen because of this man death .And one day we will all see how the LORD repays HIS faithful followers GOD BLESS TO ALL MARCH ON WARRIORS OF GOD.
